Category Head - Grocery

In a Nutshell:

Gaditek is looking for an experienced industry veteran to lead the Grocery category and help us achieve our growth targets. Our ideal candidate will have a day-one, “do it now” mentality. He/She will have an appreciation of working in a cross-functional environment with competing priorities and the humility to work with and proactively co-own results. Ensure brand commitments are being honored. Work with Brand POC, marketing and PR to crack in-bound lead generation tactics.

Once you are here, you will:

  • Own the Category, Growth Targets and lead the category team to achieve them
  • Lead the brand onboarding process for Tier 1 brands along with Head of Commercial
  • Lead Monthly Cadence Meetings with Tier 1 brands
  • Drive Marketing, Sales & Account Management to meet targets.
  • Coordinate with Growth, CRM & Product teams
  • Aggressively capture market share by means of acquiring new audiences and brands
  • Set targets to grow active users and brands including success criteria
  • Lead pitches for all brands

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience.
  • At least 6 years leading cross-functional teams to launch and execute a wide range of local campaigns with an integrated marketing mix for their category
  • Expert-level knowledge and understanding of the market landscape for their category
  • Indepth knowledge of branding and positioning best practices
  • Hands-on knowledge of Campaign Planning & Execution
  • Hands-on knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Insta, and Twitter, etc.)
  • Good to haves include knowledge of influencer marketing, inbound, and digital ads
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct analysis
  • Have the creativity and ability to identify opportunities and an unconventional approach to solving problems
  • Proactive personality with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
