Overview of the role:

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to independently research content topics and ideas that benefit the brand and network, staying abreast of the latest trends in content marketing to integrate innovative strategies into their work. Crisis management readiness is also a key aspect of the role, requiring the specialist to take immediate action when necessary.

Integrating relevant keywords into content in a contextual and natural way is crucial for this position. The specialist will also conduct competitors' analysis to understand and possibly outperform the content strategies of competitors. Daily content production is a significant part of the role, ensuring a steady stream of engaging content.

What you will be expected to perform:

  • Curate content as per guidelines & objectives of the brand team
  • Have an understanding of search engine behavior and keyword research methods
  • Create content with the intent to get maximum engagement on the content
  • Work on technical content like troubleshooting guides, how-to tutorials, blogs with technical knowledge, etc.
  • Ability to research independently for content topics & ideas that could benefit the network and brand
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in the Content Marketing industry and integrate them with your own content to maximize the results
  • Be well prepared to take immediate action in case of crisis management
  • Utilize the relevant keywords by integrating them into the content contextually and naturally
  • Conduct competitors’ analysis to understand the content writeups being followed by the competitors
  • Produce assigned content on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least Bachelors in Communication, Marketing, Media Sciences or relevant subject.
  • 3-4 years of working experience in content writing or as a digital content specialist.

You should be:

  • Understanding of content’s tone and adapt as per audience & objectives
  • Understanding of search engine behavior and keyword research methods
  • Use of search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent English grammatical and writing skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of content’s tone and adapt as per audience & objectives
  • Team player, positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Strong inclination towards learning and development for personal and professional growth.
  • Adequate knowledge of SEO tools and publishing tools
