As a Copywriter (Arabic), your responsibilities will include carefully reading and comprehending the context of the given material, utilizing specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and meticulously proofreading the final translations. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail and fluency in Arabic & English. Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality translated content that aligns with our internal requirements and enables us to effectively engage a broader audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Translating and writing texts (e.g. copy, product descriptions)
Ensuring the consistency of prepared content;
To proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
To resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture
To engage with other departments to provide translation services
To implement feedback and changes whenever possible
Partner with the creatives to make the idea, copy, and design a cohesive story
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
At least three years’ professional experience in communications, ideally experience in UAE.
Excellent spoken and written modern standard Arabic.
At least an intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards
Ability to convert written materials into a second language
Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work independently
This is a full-time position based at our Karachi office
