As a Team Lead for Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for financial close and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with all external and internal reporting requirements including, but not limited to, overall reporting calendar and coordination with the inter-department team, quarterly balance sheet deep dives, quarterly FRPs, DR reporting, financial statement tie-outs, and controls over the aforementioned topics.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Closing, P&L and Balance Sheet of Group Companies
Consolidation of monthly financials
Ensuring correct recording of all expense and financial transactions in P&L except for Inventory
Ensuring correct recording of all Balance sheet transactions including FAR and Bank
Updation of Management Information System (MIS) Pack
Account payable and receivable reconciliation
Ensuring correct recording of Payroll and other Year end JVs
Monthly closing of sales and related Journal transactions
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
5+ years of working experience; preferably audit firm and industry.
Proven experience of producing detailed and accurate financial documents and reports.
Advanced computer literacy and Excel skills
Skilled in analyzing and interpreting information and data
Experience within the fashion industry is perferred.
Able to grasp new tasks and information in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
Highly methodical and accurate, with a high attention to detail.
A self-starter, focused, approachable and confident.
Comfortable dealing with people at all levels and able to build effective internal and external working relationships.
Flexible over working hours to ensure all deadlines are met.
