Lead Test Automation Engineer

GADITEK is in search of a Lead Automation Engineer who is obsessed with quality improvement, who believes in rapid execution, is committed to creating world-class solutions, and is capable of developing and driving high-level test strategy while taking an active and hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining functional automated testing frameworks & scripts. The ideal candidate for this position has experience coding as well as functional, unit, load testing automation for software, web and mobile applications, is passionate about Quality Assurance, and loves helping the team deliver great software.

Therefore, we count on our Lead Automation Engineers to be the wielders of our touchstones and ensure that the software delivers on the vision conceptualized by developers and engineers. We need them to keep a keen eye out for both minor and major changes, and either jump in or sound the alarms so that our products deliver both world-class results and experiences.

Once you are here, you will:

  • Consult and implement right-fit test automation approach
  • Consult on Agile testing and test automation (accelerators, tools, and products)
  • Lead implementation of the test plan/strategy from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"/steady stage/CoE
  • Evaluate test results and prepare reports to reflect the status of automated tests.
  • Ensure version control of test development artifacts using version control systems (GIT)

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of multiple test automation frameworks, for functional and load testing
  • Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels.
  • Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients’ reality.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as ALM, Jira.
  • Improve process and quality via test and process automation: defining the right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and stakeholders.
  • Deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Appium, etc.).

Relevant Experience:

  • At least sixteen years of academic education with a bachelor’s degree in any of the software development related disciplines


  • Maximum Experience – 6 to 8 year of professional experience in a similar capacity
