Job Overview:


As a product designer, you will ensure our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You will be expected to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills to consistently assess, evaluate, and question how to make product design and user experience better based on the data. You will collaborate with the product owner and manager, central design team, and other stakeholders to better understand the problem the product is trying to solve; and better solve end users' problems. Your focus will be to design new and improve existing features based on user research and analytics data. 


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Drive the Product design process from discovery to implementation.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers in your team and collaborate with Designers, UX Writers, and Marketers.
  • Transform complex and abstract concepts and challenges into well-articulated, tangible solution ideas with a strong problem-solving mindset and craft excellence
  • Use human-centered design methodologies and practices to elevate the customer centricity in your team and stakeholders around you (e.g. Conduct workshops, brainstorming sessions, etc.)
  • Manage multiple and complex projects around the problem space, being a source of inspiration on the craft and execution of the design.
  • Some experience with creating and managing Design Systems.


Preferred Educational, Technical, and Professional Expertise


  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial Design) or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience working in digital on design teams.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Practitioner of product-led growth techniques.
  • Familiar with doing research and design within iterative development.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of computer science and the modern IT industry.
  • Portfolio / Case Studies with recent work samples.
  • Experience with a wide range of design and Prototyping Tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite,)
