In a Nutshell:

We’re looking for a Sr. Social Media Executive to assist the Social Media Team with the day-to-day work, take ownership for the content process and execute the Social Media Strategy. Our ideal candidate is passionate about learning, has good English writing skills and looking to grow in their career. You will use our social media handles to share tips and other helpful content on cloud hosting, Ecommerce, Agency businesses and WordPress to establish Cloudways as a leader in the Managed Cloud Hosting industry. You’ll provide timely support to customers, users and manage reputation with care & expertise to build and maintain Trust. You’ll support all other teams to amplify their voice and reach on social media.

Outcomes
1. Create WOW engagement by achieving 100% inbox and mention responses within
4 business hours (15 on weekends)
a. Engage with positive, friendly energy that is accurate, builds trust, and creates
opportunities to quickly solve problems or drive conversions.
b. Collaborate with all internal teams where needed to offer timely response/support
to all users and dispatch further assistance or opportunities where applicable (ie.
Support, CS, sales, agency, WordPress, etc.)
c. Document common responses into a social FAQ to improve response times and
team enablement.
d. Track KPIs daily and report on the dashboard weekly.
KPIs: i) response rate ii) response time iii) number of responses.
e. Work with management to identify and implement new ideas to improve
workflows to save time and increase the effectiveness of social engagement.

2. Publish amazing & creative content for Social Media to ensure 3 posts per day and
own the Social Content process
a. Plan a monthly calendar at least a week before the month starts with approval
from Social Lead.
b. Schedule all posts on Sprout Social to ensure timely execution at least 3 days
before the month starts
c. Collaborate with all internal teams (Agency, Persona, WordPress, Magento,
SEO, Product, etc) for their social publishing needs.
d. Write copy/captions for social media posts as the social media guideline and get
them approved before scheduling the content.

e. Collaborate with the Design Team to get designs prepared for all social media
posts and get them approved before scheduling the content.
f. Repurpose existing evergreen brand content (website, blog, reviews, webinars,
YouTube etc) for social in various creative ways.
g. Plan and execute at least 1 social campaign focused on engagement,
impressions, brand building, trust or customer delight.
h. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard.
KPIs: i) No: of posts ii) Types of posts iii) No: of campaigns iv) No: of
repurposed content
i. Work with management to improve the Social Content process and the Social
Media Style Guide. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow of Social
Calendar.

3. Expand Cloudways by reaching more people to grow the social awareness and
overall impressions of the brand by at least 15% every quarter
a. Increase the followers of Cloudways social channels with targeted personas
(Agency, Ecommerce and WordPress) by 10% every quarter.
b. Increase brand awareness in USA and EU regions among targeted personas
(Agency, Ecommerce and WordPress) by generating xx impressions by quarter
end.
c. Translate those targeted impressions into 10% traffic and from that 10% leads
d. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow and to get better results.
e. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard.
KPIs: i) Followers ii) Impressions iii) Traffic iv) Leads

4. Create delightful brand engagements for existing customers and compel new
users to interact with Cloudways to magnify overall engagement by 15% every
quarter
a. Increase brand engagement by xx among targeted personas (Agency,
Ecommerce and WordPress) by planning and executing at least 1 contest and 1
giveaway every month.
b. Create delightful monthly engagement activities for the FB Users Group and
manage the group.
c. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow and to get better results.
d. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard.
KPIs: i) Engagements ii) Engagement Rate iii) No: of engagement focused
activities

5. Build brand trust in the community and industry & create opportunities for
customer delight

a. Respond, forward, and document all customer reviews with an SLA of 24 hours.
b. Document common responses into a Reviews FAQ to improve response times
and team enablement.
c. Highlight the positive brand image of Cloudways via reviews, rating, awards etc
on social media, website, and blog.
d. Build trust in Cloudways brand by executing at least 1 trust and/or delight
building activity/campaign every month.
e. Share ideas and feedback to improve the workflow, improve results and give
suggestions for new initiatives to management.
f. Track KPIs for all activities and report weekly on the dashboard.
KPIs: i) No: of reviews responded & documented ii) Response time iii) No: of
negative reviews managed, resolved and documented iv) No: of Trust building
initiatives

Duties and Responsibilities
● Contribute to and influence the direction of social media strategy
● Design and execute social media campaigns
● Analyze and report on the post, channel and brand performance on social media
● Create and contribute in content creation for social media
● Write copy for social media posts
● Listen and respond to user queries on social media
● Repurpose all website and blog content for social media
● Create video content for social media
● Get designs and banners created for various social posts and campaigns
● Publish content on all social media channels
● Manage the Facebook Users Group
● Analysis of competitor campaigns and social media strategies
● Generate regular analytical reports
● Report regular progress updates of tasks assigned
● Monitor review sites for reviews,write responses and document them

Skills / Attributes Required
1. A degree or equivalent marketing qualification (e.g. BS)
2. Some experience within social media
3. Strong grasp of English grammar and writing skills
4. A creative and energetic personality
5. A good eye for designs and aesthetics
6. Strong presentation and analytical skills
7. Strong desire to learn and grow
8. Ability to work flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business
9. Ability to continually improve and enhance the company’s social media output
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured
environment
11. Experience of using Social Media automation tools like Hootsuite/Sprout Social.
