Overview of the role:

Gaditek is looking for a Team Lead Health, Safety and Environment to assist in the development, performance and maintenance of the health, safety and environment activities of the organisation with responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the team.

What you will be expected to perform:

  • Develop safety policies and procedures
  • Training and education for staff and employees
  • Safety inspection and audits
  • Incident reporting and investigation
  • Risk assessment to identify hazard and develop action plan
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Crisis management
  • Vendor and contractor safety standards
  • Documentation and record keeping
  • Qualifications and Requirements/ You might be a good fit by having the following
  • Bachelor degree in occupational Health and Safety
  • Qualification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Proven work experience as a health & safety supervisor in big industry/corporate setup. 
  • Professional certification/licenses in work place health and safety(nebosh,osha,iosh) are strongly preferred. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and able to develops strategies for prevention.

You should be:

  • 2-3 Years of relevant work experience in HSE
  • Experience in progressively responsible roles

Dimensions and Supplementary Information:

Strong understanding of local, Federal and international safety and environmental regulations is essential. The ability to interpret and ensure compliance with this regulation is crucial.
